SAP Implementation & Process Standardization in Manufacturing
Table of contents
A full-cycle SAP implementation was delivered to unify business processes and information systems across multiple companies in manufacturing industry. The project covered analysis, process design, system configuration, data migration, go-live, and post-launch support.
The solution integrated finance, procurement, production, sales, logistics, CRM, HR, and reporting into one centralized ERP environment.
The Problem
- Different processes and IT systems in each company
- No unified standards across the group
- Difficulties in consolidated reporting and decision-making
- Low process transparency and limited operational control
Fragmented systems made management reporting complex and slowed down decision-making. Without standardized processes, it was difficult to control costs, improve efficiency, and scale operations.
The Solution
Target business processes were designed and aligned with SAP best practices. Corporate templates were developed for the full manufacturing chain and implemented across all entities.
Core SAP modules were deployed, including MDG, BPC, ARIBA, MM, CRM (C4C, CPQ, CPI), PP, SD, TM/LE, finance modules (GL, AP/AR, TAX, AA), HCM/PY, and analytical reporting.
The system consolidated data into a single environment, ensuring consistency across departments and companies. Special focus was placed on user adoption to ensure smooth transition and acceptance of new processes.
The Outcome
- Unified ERP system across all companies
- Standardized and optimized business processes
- Improved transparency and reporting
- Increased efficiency and cost control
- Project delivered within 12 months
The organization now operates with a centralized and structured management system, enabling faster decision-making and stronger operational control.
